A free Ag Appreciation Week film screening & conversation about mental health in rural Colorado
Agriculture can be rewarding, joyful, and at times, heartbreaking. Legacy documents the beautiful and sometimes painful stories of the deep love for agriculture in the State of Colorado. Through this film, the Colorado Department of Agriculture and the Colorado Farm Bureau worked with experts statewide to create this glimpse into the lives and struggles of Colorado producers, highlighting tools available to support our rural communities.During Agriculture Appreciation week in the Yampa Valley, Bud Werner Library, Community Agriculture Alliance(link is external), REPS(link is external) and Routt County CSU Extension(link is external) invite you see this new documentary film and join a meaningful discussion about mental health in our ranching and farming community.

ASIST (Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training)

- An intensive, interactive workshop providing advanced suicide intervention skills to support individuals in crisis.

Bowling Against Bullying

Join Reaching Everyone Preventing Suicide (REPS) for our annual Bowling Against Bullying tournament on March 26, 2025! This event raises funds for REPS’ impactful Youth Programs, including the Youth Ambassador Program, Hope Squad, High School Education, and It Takes Courage. These programs promote mental health awareness and empower our youth with the tools to instill courage and inspire growth of empathetic communities.
Teams: 24 team slots, 6 people max per team
Tickets: $375 per team or $50 per spectator (includes food & 2 drink tickets)

We encourage teams to choose a theme and dress up—the more creative, the better! Prizes will be awarded for high and low scores, best costumes, most fundraised, and fun games like Train Race, Blindfolded Bowl, Bumper Bowl, and Dinosaur Bowl.

Join STAND (Steamboat Team to Disrupt Antisemitism and Discrimination), led by Rabbi Kolby of Har Mishpacha, Pastor Tim Selby of Heart of Steamboat, and Chief Beckett of Steamboat Springs Police Department, for our next convening, When Discrimination Kills: Suicide Prevention for Marginalized Communities. This convening is being held in partnership with REPS (Reaching Everyone Preventing Suicide).
Light refreshments are generously provided by grant funding from Yampa Valley Community Foundation and the Natan Foundation. Childcare will be provided if needed.
